On August 26th, a tourism promotion conference between Yunnan Province and Cambodia was held in Kunming, jointly organized by the Ministry of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Yunnan Province, and Yunnan Investment Group, among others.

As a significant event within this year's "China-Cambodia Tourism Year," Yunnan showcased its rich and diverse tourism culture resources and the broad prospects for tourism cooperation with South and Southeast Asian countries. H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia, stated at the conference that the "Yunnan-Cambodia Tourism Promotion Conference" would serve as an opportunity to strengthen mutual tourism exchanges and cultural understanding with all sectors in Yunnan. He expressed a commitment to achieving greater results in China-Cambodia tourism cooperation, thereby making a positive contribution to the grand objective of building a China-Cambodia community with a shared future.

The Siem Reap Angkor International Airport in Cambodia, invested in and constructed by Yunnan Investment Group, has been successfully operating for nearly two years. With continuously increasing flight routes and expanded services, it has significantly boosted the cooperative development of the tourism industries between Yunnan and Cambodia. As one of the hosts of the "Yunnan-Cambodia Tourism Promotion Conference," Yunnan Investment Group will collaborate with all parties from China and Cambodia to actively promote more high-quality tourism routes. Both sides will mutually support and participate in each other's tourism promotion activities to attract more tourists for two-way travel. Furthermore, there will be enhanced exchanges and mutual learning in areas such as tourism management, talent cultivation, smart tourism, and service standards to collectively elevate the tourism experience. Opportunities for cooperation in emerging fields like eco-tourism, health and wellness tourism, and the conservation and development of cultural heritage will also be explored to enrich tourism offerings.

During the promotion conference, relevant departments, enterprises, and educational institutions from both Yunnan and Cambodia also signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) for cooperation.

作为今年“中柬旅游年”的重要系列活动之一，云南向与会代表展示了丰富多彩的旅游文化资源和与南亚东南亚旅游文化合作的广阔前景。柬埔寨王国旅游部大臣胡海在推介会上表示，将以“滇柬旅游推介会”为契机，与云南各界一道加强旅游往来，强化文化的交流互鉴，推动中柬旅游合作取得更大成果，为构建中柬命运共同体的宏伟目标作出积极贡献。

由云投集团牵头投资建设的柬埔寨暹粒吴哥国际机场顺利通航近两年来，航班航线不断加密，有力地推动了滇柬两地旅游业合作发展。作为此次“滇柬旅游推介会”的主办方之一，云投集团将携手中柬各界，积极推广更多精品旅游线路，相互支持参与对方举办的旅游推广活动，吸引更多游客双向流动；加强在旅游管理、人才培养、智慧旅游、服务标准等方面的交流互鉴，共同提升旅游体验；探索在生态旅游、康养旅游、文化遗产保护与旅游开发等新兴领域的合作机会，丰富旅游业态。

推介会上，滇柬双方相关部门、企业及院校还分别签署了《合作备忘录》。
