Representatives of well-known enterprises conducted on-site inspections of the characteristic advantage enterprises in each park, gaining a firsthand understanding of the investment environment, industrial advantages, and future development directions of the parks. The event has promoted more overseas well-known enterprises to learn about Yunnan and invest in Yunnan.

Recently, over 40 businessmen from more than 20 companies, including SYR, the Bureau of China International Import Expo, KPMG China, Bayer (China) Limited, and Siemens Healthineers, which have participated in the CIIE for five years. They visited Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone (hereinafter referred to as Kunming Area) through the on-site inspection activity of the "CIIE Comes to Yunnan" event.

Among the enterprises that participated in the investigation in Kunming Area this time, many entrepreneurs visited Yunnan for the first time and expressed that they gained many "pleasant surprises".

Smapka Canada Inc. is a professional outdoor clothing company with 20 years of experience. Its brand “LOOPDIVISION” is a high-end local outdoor brand in Canada. By joining in the "CIIE Comes to Yunnan" event this time, Wu Kuikui, the founder of the brand, visited Yunnan for the first time. "I had many unexpected gains," said Wu Kuikui. Her original plan was to investigate the skiwear and outdoor jacket market of Yunnan, she found there were abundant resources here after arriving in Yunnan, and the warm hospitality of Yunnan people left a deep impression on her. "Wang Zheng, a member of the Party Working Committee of Kunming Economic and Technological Development Zone and Deputy Director of the Management Committee, introduced us to the fragrance and biopharmaceutical industries here, which I hadn't thought of before," said Wu Kuikui. "In addition to bringing our products from Canada to Yunnan, I also hope to bring Yunnan's characteristic products to Canada," who hopes to learn more about Yunnan's specialty products. 

"I originally signed up for another park, but I adjusted my schedule to visit Kunming Area after learning about the coordinated development layout of the 'Four Zones' in Kunming, hoping to learn more about Kunming and the China-Laos Mohan-Boten Economic Cooperation Zone," said Tang Peng, vice General Manager of China region of SYR Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

The inspection team visited the Comprehensive Service Center of Kunming Area to experience and understand Yunnan's business environment through the efficient and convenient government services provided by the Kunming Area. Afterwards, the inspection team visited the intelligent production workshop of Kunming Yunnei Power Co., Ltd., where its new energy engine products and highly automated production lines attracted the attention of many businessmen. The inspection team also visited the Shanghai-Yunnan Kunming Science and Technology by Lingang Group, which is currently under construction. It is learned that most of the businessmen who visited Kunming Area this time are from Shanghai. Shanghai-Yunnan Kunming Science and Technology City is a key project that emerged under the framework of "Shanghai-Yunnan Collaboration, East-West Cooperation." The project plans to build 42 buildings, and it is expected that more than 200 high-tech enterprises will settle in after the full delivery in the first quarter of next year.

SYR is a European brand specializing in high-end filtration devices and control valves. Tang Peng stated that Yunnan has been developing rapidly in recent years, especially in the field of the new energy industry, with broad prospects and a favorable business environment. "Our products can contribute to the construction of Yunnan's green and low-carbon parks and the Mohan Port." Xiong Xiangjun, General Manager of Rubolab Technologies (Beijing) Co., Ltd., who visited Yunnan for the first time, expressed that he learned Kunming is currently the only provincial capital city in China with a "borderline and border port" during this trip and gained knowledge about many new opening-up policies. "We’ll have some plans in Yunnan in the next step," said Xiong.

Wang Zheng introduced Kunming Area to the businessmen and emphasized the policies and layout of the southward opening-up. He said that Yunnan is a place where you don't want to leave once you come. There is not only pleasant climate and abundant resources here but also unlimited development potential and opportunities. With the opening of the China-Laos Railway, the implementation of the RCEP, and the comprehensive launch of the joint construction of the international port city as Kunming taking administration of Mohan, the overlapping advantages of policies in Kunming Area, Kunming Economic and Technological Development Zone, Kunming Free Trade Zone, and the Mohan-Boten Economic Cooperation Zone can be effectively leveraged. By exploring the "industry+port" model and continuously expanding the new advantages of the port economy, the great channel drives the great logistics, the great logistics drives the great trade, and the great trade drives the great industry, so the effect of "1+1+1+1＞4" will be achieved. Among the "Three Major Economies" of resource economy, port economy, and park economy, which are important drivers for promoting the high-quality development of Yunnan's economy, the park economy is connected between the port economy and resource economy, various resources were integrated by the parks in the middle. With the opening-up toward the south, Kunming Area is committed to helping enterprises create more competitive products and jointly explore broader markets with numerous businessmen.

The representatives of the enterprises expressed their intention to strengthen communication and cooperation with Yunnan, and seek common development through this on-site inspection.

近日，进博会五届“全勤生”汉斯希尔、进口博览局、毕马威中国、拜耳（中国）有限公司、西门子医疗等20多家企业的40多名客商随“进博会走进云南”活动之园区实地考察活动，来到昆明经开区（自贸试验区昆明片区）。

在此次到昆明经开区（自贸试验区昆明片区）考察的企业中，很多企业家是第一次到云南，他们表示收获了很多“惊喜”。

加拿大司麦派克有限公司是一家拥有20年经验的专业户外服饰公司，旗下LOOPDIVISION品牌是加拿大本土高端户外品牌。该品牌创始人吴葵葵此次随“进博会走进云南”活动第一次到云南。“有很多意外收获。”吴葵葵说，原计划到云南考察滑雪服、冲锋衣市场，来到云南后发现这里物产丰富，云南人热情好客给她留下了非常深刻的印象。“昆明经开区（自贸试验区昆明片区）党工委委员、管委会副主任王峥向我们介绍了这里的香氛、生物医药产业，这些都是我以前没有想到的。”吴葵葵透露，她希望了解更多云南特产，“除了把我们在加拿大的产品带来云南，我也希望把云南的特色产品带到加拿大。”  

“我原本报名到另一个园区，了解到昆明‘四区’联动发展布局后，临时调整了行程来昆明经开区（自贸试验区昆明片区）考察，想多了解一些昆明与中国老挝磨憨—磨丁经济合作区的情况。”汉斯希尔贸易（上海）有限公司中国区副总经理唐鹏说。

考察团实地参观了昆明片区综合服务中心，以自贸试验区高效、便捷的政务服务为切入口，感受、了解云南的营商环境。随后，考察团来到昆明云内动力股份有限公司智能化生产车间，新能源发动机产品以及高度自动化的生产线吸引了不少客商的关注。考察团还走访了正在加紧建设中的沪滇临港昆明科技城。据了解，此次到昆明片区考察的客商大部分是来自上海的企业。沪滇临港昆明科技城是在“沪滇携手、东西协作”大格局下应运而生的重点项目。该项目计划建设42栋楼宇，预计在明年一季度全部交付后将有200多家高新技术企业入驻。

汉斯希尔是欧洲高端过滤装置和控制阀品牌。唐鹏表示，近年来云南发展很快，尤其在新能源产业方面前景广阔，营商环境也不错。“我们的产品可以助力云南绿色低碳园区建设以及磨憨口岸建设。”第一次到云南的儒亚科技（北京）有限公司总经理熊向军表示，此行了解到昆明是目前全国唯一拥有“边境线和边境口岸”的省会城市，了解了很多新的开放政策，“下一步在云南会有一些计划。”

王峥向客商推介了昆明经开区（自贸试验区昆明片区），着重介绍了南向开放政策和布局。他说，云南是一个来了就不想走的地方。这里不仅有宜人的气候、丰富的资源，还蕴藏着无限的发展潜力，南向开放、机遇无限。随着中老铁路开通、RCEP落地生效、昆明托管磨憨共建国际口岸城市全面启动，可有效发挥自贸试验区昆明片区、昆明经开区、昆明综合保税区、磨憨—磨丁合作区“四区”政策叠加优势，通过探索“产业+口岸”联动模式，持续扩大口岸经济新优势，实现以大通道带动大物流、大物流带动大贸易、大贸易带动大产业“1+1+1+1＞4”的效果。在作为推动云南经济高质量发展重要抓手的资源经济、口岸经济、园区经济“三大经济”中，园区经济上接口岸、下连资源，园区在中间把各类资源整合在一起。搭乘南向开放的“东风”，昆明经开区（自贸试验区昆明片区）致力于帮助企业打造更有竞争力的产品，与广大客商一起开拓更广阔的市场。
