（InKunming Lexi）As of June 7, CRIntermodal Kunming Central Station has launched a total of 186 trains and 4281 carriages of the China-Laos Railway international freight train since the opening of the China-Laos Railway in December 2021, with the value of cargo worth 3.79 billion yuan. 

Kunming Central Station is located in Wangjiaying logistics area of Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone and Wangjiaying West Station of Nanning-Kunming Railway. As the departure station of the China-Laos Railway, Kunming Central Station was put into operation in November 2006. It is the first central station of the China-Laos Railway that started operation, and also the only large-scale container logistics center in Yunnan Province and even the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. 

According to introduction, the China-Laos Railway served as a golden channel of international logistics between China and ASEAN since its operation. The transport time and transport cost are significantly reduced compared with before. The role of the “golden channel” is becoming more and more clear.

As of June 7, Kunming Central Station has launched a total of 186 trains and 4281 carriages of the China-Laos Railway international freight train, with a total shipment of 82,600 tons of cargo worth 3.79 billion yuan. The main shipments include chemical fertilizer, vegetables, cloth, mechanical equipment accessories, monocrystalline silicon, electronic accessories, daily provisions, food, epidemic prevention supplies and cross-border e-commerce goods. The total arrival of cargo reached 44,700 tons and the China-Laos Railway international freight trains reached 1,568 carriages.

Kunming Central Station covers an area of 82.6 hectares and is equipped with a modern warehouse of 26,000 square meters, which handling capacity is about 400,000 TEUs. The storage yard in the station can store 20,000 TEUs of cargo at one time. Kunming Central Station is the core hub of rail-motor transportation. From the aspect of railway, it is connected with Chengdu-Kunming Railway, Shanghai-Kunming Railway and Kunming-Yuxi Railway. From the aspect of highway, it is connected with Kunming-Mohan Expressway, Guangzhou-Kunming Expressway and South Kunming Ring Expressway.

Kunming Central Station has prominent location advantages, which undertakes about 70% of the quantity of shipments of China-Laos cargo via the Yunnan road network. In addition, Kunming Central Station also launched Lancang-Mekong Express. As of June 7, Kunming Central Station has launched a total of 54 trains and 528 carriages of Lancang-Mekong Express.

记者6月8日获悉，自中老铁路开通以来，截至6月7日，王家营西集装箱中心站（中铁联集昆明中心站）（以下简称“昆明中心站”）共计开行中老铁路国际货运列车186列4281车，货值37.9亿元。

昆明中心站位于昆明经开区王家营物流片区，地处南昆铁路王家营西站。作为中老铁路国际班列起点站，昆明中心站于2006年11月投入运营，是中老铁路最早投入运营的中心站，也是云南省乃至云贵高原唯一的大型集装箱物流中心。

昆明中心站相关负责人介绍，自2021年12月3日中老铁路开通运营以来，这一“钢铁驼队”在中国和东盟之间建起了一条内外联动、便捷高效的国际物流黄金大通道，与开通前相比，运输时间大幅压缩，运输成本大幅降低，国际物流黄金大通道作用初显。

相关统计数据显示，截至6月7日，昆明中心站共计开行中老铁路国际货运列车186列4281车，发运货物总量达8.26万吨，货值37.9亿元；主要发送货物品类有化肥、蔬菜、布料、机械设备配件、单晶硅片、电子配件、日用百货、食品、防疫物资、跨境电商货物等；到达的中老铁路国际货运列车共计1568车，货物总量4.47万吨。

昆明中心站占地82.6公顷，其堆场可一次性堆存2万标箱货物，配备现代化仓库2.6万平方米，年办理能力约40万标箱。昆明中心站是公铁联运的核心枢纽，从铁路看，其与成昆、沪昆、昆玉铁路紧密衔接，是铁路运力资源最充足、运力调配最高效的车站；从公路看，其与昆磨、广昆和昆明南绕城高速公路连接，承接来自云南各方向的货物。

目前，昆明中心站区位优势凸显，承担着云南路网约70%的中老货物发运量。此外，昆明中心站还组织开行了“澜湄快线”。截至6月7日，昆明中心站共开行“澜湄快线”54列528车。（中文稿件来源：昆明信息港 昆明日报记者廖兴阳））
